Guest guest
Do you think Dr would prescribe the revia 50mg naltrexone tabs?
Guest guest
The 50 MG tablets are for narcotic addicts and alcoholics. With a possible exception for someone in that category no one here would have any need for the 50 MG slow release tablets. I have heard though that one can smash them up into a fine powder, dissolve them in water and them take he proper 3 or 4.5 MG dose. The Naltrexone water solution has to be refrigerated. Guest guest
Hi Sally, Like said, I measure my own LDN after I crush the 50 mg tabs. I dont have any med ins, and evn though LDN is inexpensive enough for me to buy the compounded tabs, buying the Revia is even cheaper, and I like the idea of not having an excess amount of filler. :0)
Guest guest
Do you have a Dr who prescribes the 50mg revia? I wll gladly ask my pharmisist about it.....Is it hard to crush and mix? And how are you doing since being on ur own mix? Is it accurate? And do you just use tap water? Thanks, Sally --- In low dose naltrexone , " " <davizona@c...> wrote: > Hi Sally, > > Like said, I measure my own LDN after I crush the 50 mg tabs. > I dont have any med ins, and evn though LDN is inexpensive enough for > me to buy the compounded tabs, buying the Revia is even cheaper, and > I like the idea of not having an excess amount of filler. :0)
Guest guest
Nope, no prescribing Dr yet. Thats why I was asking about Dr. . You see, I bought my first 'batch' of Revia online on one of those scriptless pharmacies. Lately I've noticed that none of those 'pharmacies' are stocking it now. I still have enough to last for 4-5 months, but being the way I am, I wanted to 'stock up' on it. Measuring is easy. I dont use water. I heard that it might lose some of it's potency if you leave it in water for too long. I learned how to make a 'spoon' that will hold 4.5mg. Every night I dump a spoonful in an ounce of water, then bottoms up. Someone else who does it this way says it starts going to work as soon as it hits the back of the tongue. :0))
Guest guest
I know for sure that we do not need such high doses. Dr. Bihari's whole sucess was based on the fact that though Naltrixone was bad (when used for addicts or in such high doses), it was however more effective and safe with minute amounts used in MS/Cancer/Auto Immune diseases and many more. But each case is different and I am sure we can check from his office. Mira On Saturday, Aug 9, 2003, at 19:22 US/Central, Burnham wrote: > The 50 MG tablets are for narcotic addicts and alcoholics. Guest guest
To Cooky and Group, I haven't been to rhemy almost 3 years, and never to md. Jan 18th I have a apt with MD here in Fairfield. She is new to the area, a long time meditator/vegatarien and is also going to start doing hourse calls. She is in Service. I sent her the q and a to look over before apt and said I would like her to assist me in this protocol and work with Dr. Sinnott to get me going. I feel really good about this lady being open and interested in AP. Since it's been 3 years since blood work for RA, I'm going to ask her to do the blood work as indicated in the Q and A #12. I also want test done for thyroid and vit D level. Anything else? At least that will give us a new start as to where I am now, and then continue to monitor along with the AP. I know I need the hip (or hips) replaced, but want to wait until I can get relief from less RA pain, and wait until spring when warmer (I'm in Iowa) At end of april, I will qualify for Medicaid, which will pay for what Medicare doesn't pay. I feel like it is a long road ahead, yet I've waited this long.............and know there will be a day I'll look back on this as just part of my past. Here's how I feel about all this pain and diseases: I want a day when I don't remember the pain, however.........I never want to forget the pain! Sally rheumatic Sally Sally, hi You asked when does the pain stop. In my case I had a week of Clindamycin IV's and 2 weeks later all the pain in my left hand was GONE. I did not think it would last but it did. After that I would have a day here or there that I felt less tired and less achy. Then I would have a day where one of my finger or a toe would stop hurting and then hurt again. Then the pain free area would last 2 days or maybe another would feel better and then hurt again. I looked back at my story and it was more than a year before I had a break thru and it was only after IV's. Good luck Sally and don't worry it will happen. cooky
