Guest guest
Hi Thank you Mymisspriss. Your personal info reallly helped my Mom. My Mom started on 2.5 mg. of LDN for her Fibromyalgia about 6 weeks ago. We did not see anything happening. She has been on 3.75 mg for about 1 month. Within about 4 days of increasing the dose, her crippling body pains disappeared. There have been no side effects. I haven't seen her look so great in years. She never complained about her pain unless I made her discuss it, but I could always hear it in her voice when I called. Now she even calls me and sounds great. I know everybody is different. But 3.75 is working for her and I pray it keeps working. Just for your information she is 5'2" and weighs about 98lbs soaking wet. I added this just in case someone wanted to compare their dose to weight. (I am not sure it matters however) Sharing personal experiences is a great way to learn. ----- Original Message ----- From: mymisspriss19472000 low dose naltrexone Sent: Thursday, July 17, 2003 12:42 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Fibro patients on other boards are on too small of a dose There are some people with fibromyalgia on other message boards that are now trying LDN but are on such small doses, some under 1 mg and complaining of being tired. Can't seem to get them to go to a normal dose, at least 1.75 to 3 mg. In fact I feel I have been ignored much of the time. I keep updating my reports but get no responses. Why?One even said they hate it when someone finds something that helps them! Sorry to bring up negativity here, I only wanted to help others who are in such chronic pain as I was. I am feeling down about them. I only wanted to help them. Mymisspriss
