Guest guest
hi, I'm new to this list, but thought I'd jump in with what just happened... After doing Novantrone for the 2 1/2 years allowed, I hit my life max and couldn't do anymore. I had fabulous results with it and didn't want to go down hill and lose everything I got back..The first thing I did was try to get copaxone. I went to Shared Solutions and they sent me an application for subsidy...I was turned down and don't have $900 a month to pay, sooo, I started looking for something else. Hence the LDN... I was on 4AP for 6 years and did well but decided not to mix it with the chemo...I do believe that we half to help ourselves and look to non conventional help...I started the novantrone in April and it wasn't approved for use until Oct., I'm not one to wait...anyway, about the LDN... I just ordered my 5th month, I am on 3mg and have had no side effects at all, BUT!!! Yesterday I went for oral surgery..now understand, I'd go to any doctor before I'd go to my dentist...I hate them (no offence if any of you are on here), anyway, stressfull is not a big enough word. Usually when I have this kind of stress I zonk out from my MS for at least 3-4 days.. I rested yesterday after the surgery, took 1 alleve and slept all night with no problems...What I was amazed at is today I am back to normal (whatever that means). My energy level is up and I'm not tired or worndown. The only thing I am doing differently from other stressfull times is the LDN... I'm not usually quick to credit the meds for progress, at least not this quickly, but this is the only thing I can think of that is unusal. If it is the LDN, then G-d bless this stuff. Well, thanks for reading, just wanted to share....take care y'all, Lynn _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
Guest guest
I think it all is very normal - I went through a lot of the same feelings but trust me - when they are out you will be very happy to have your NATURAL self back. Of course it was weird to be really small busted again but the are soft and all mine - no hard nasty boobs here! I think we all get emotional before any surgery - just remember how good you are going to feel knowing you are that much closer to feeling better!! I love that disclaimer - that is great that they are now admitting that implants may "Allegedly" caused illnesses that removing them may not cure. What a bunch of jerks all these implant people are!!! they know exactly what we are talking about or they wouldn't have put it in there to start with!! Good luck and keep your head up!! shari
