Guest guest
Hello, I'm new to this site and interested in what I've just read on the main site for LDN. Printed some of the info and brought to my primary MD today to get his opinion and see if he could write me a script but he didn't agree with it. Only suggested that I see my neuro or enroll in a study for the LDN if there are any ongoing ones for MS. I'm sure my neuro will not go along with this since it's not FDA approved for MS. Anybody aware of any MD's who are in the western Massachusetts area and are a little more understanding? Thanks. Andre'
Guest guest
Hi Andre' WELCOME! You can go to www.acam.org to look for forward thinking Doc. Also there is another web site you can check: www.lef.org. I'm sure you can find a Doc from one of these sites. Or you can check out endroconolist, or a GP. Sometimes neuro's are NOT very forward thinking! They like to control everything. I know there is a compounding pharmacy in your area. Either of these compounding pharmacies may have list of Docs also. Pelllhlam Health Care Services, in Brookline, MA; 617-739-2266, or Western Mass. Compounding pharmacy in West Springfield, 413-737-2600. Hope this helps you! I also have been on Prokarin. I am not sure about it doing anything for me! I hope you can get on LDN very soon. Share a smile, make someone happy! Keep us posted! Guest guest
Hi Andre, I am from Eastern Mass. but I went right to the big guy. Dr. Bihari in NY. @ 212-929-4196. He has been researching it for 20 years. You can have a phone conversation with him and he will prescribe it. Good Luck. Guest guest
Hi Andre, Glad you found us. So often the words that I say fall on deaf ears and I feel so badly for those people because they will never know about the wonders of this stuff. The smart ones listen...lol. I am confident that you will find a doc that is willing to prescribe this for you. As I mentioned, the neuros generally will not. The way I found my endocronologist was by logging onto www.lef.org and clicking the innovative doctors on the lower left side of the page. I figured that what I would do is just start calling them. I knew in my mind that I was not going to go to any doctor that was not in corner on this. I feel so wonderful that I took total control of my health and " fired " those neuros that would not " go outside the box " . I like to think that I am working with my doctor and making decision with him as to what is right for me and I love it. Gives me such a feeling to know that I am in control. This attitude is spilling over to all aspects in my life. Good luck to you and please let us know how it all works out for you. We love to share all of our experiences here ...good or bad. Joyce.
