Guest guest
Our favorite thing about summer is being able to spend more time outside, my husband just built a swingset for our kids and when they go outside and play, I can ALWAYS get to take a nap afterwards (which makes it Mommy's favorite thing!) Least favorite is summer storms...I'm over the anxiety of tornado warnings already! (We're new to the midwest). Have a great day! Guest guest
I love summer. I just love being able to spend so much family time. My husband doesn't leave for work until 3pm so we get to do all kinds of thing together. We spend almost everyday at the local spray park. Today was a rough one for my ds and in turn rough for me. Some older boys were making fun of him, calling him names and saying that they didn't like him. I got so mad and told them so. It just broke my heart watching him play and try so hard to fit in and continue to be rejected only to end up playing alone. I want so badly for him to have friends and just for him to know HOW to play and interact. I just don't know how to get passed it. I really want him to be accepted and for the life of me can not see what he is doing to tip the kids off that he is " different " He does not even have much of a chance to talk. It is almost as though he wears a sign on his back. ( ) Time to get things moving....share your favorite and least favorite thing about summer.
