Guest guest
Hi ;Welcome! I am sooooooo glad you have an opened minded neuro! I fired one a few months ago because he would not listen to me at all! I would also like to know where you live! I am looking for a new forward thinking neuro. Someone who will go alone with the LDN I got from another MD here in Oregon, who is an ACAM Doc.He is very open minded. Best of luck to you & LDN. I am very happy at your good success already. I have been on LDN 9 wks. I won't ever go off it! Balance & walking getting much better! My sleep & energy very good. Make someone happy, share a smile! :) Warmest regards, Cydney -----Original Message-----From: Sally [mailto:salpal@...] Sent: Saturday, July 05, 2003 8:24 PMlow dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: new to group-taking rebifHi , Welcome to the ldn group. He or She is deffinately a keeper!Noone I know has been able to even get a neuro to listen to our pleas, much less, actually being his/her idea. Good luck with your ldn......my 1st reaction to ldn was better balance as well.Hugs, Sally> Hi. I am new to the group. I have been diagnosed with MS since > 1995. Guest guest
THAT IS THE RESPONSE YOU GET FROM MOST NEUROS JOAN....AND YOU ARE ON AVONEX....SO YOUR DR. PROB NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU LDN WHILE ON AVONEX......IF YOU REALLY WANT LDN, THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO GET IT.....JUST CALL DR BAHARI OR ONE OF THE OTHER DOCTORS LISTED HERE AND LET US KNOW HOW YOU DO. GOOD WISHES TO YOU., AND GOOD LUCK WITH LDN HUGS, SALLY ----- Original Message ----- From: <Palace8@...> > Sally,> I agree with you about the openmindness of the neuro doctor. Guest guest
HI BARB, YOU SOUND LIKE A VERY TOGETHER PERSON AND I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU HAVE AN OPEN MINDED DOCTOR. I, LIKE YOU, HAVE HAD MS FOR 35 YEARS.......AND I ONLY WISH I HAD KNOW ABOUT LDN MANY YEARS AGO. WE ARE ALL ALONE IN MS AND YET WE ARE ALL TOGETHER HERE, BARB. IT MUST BE A LITTLE SCARY LIVING ALONE WITH THIS CRAP......BUT YOU HAVE SUPPORT HERE.......LET US KNOW HOW YOU DO WITH LDN... WARMEST REGARDS. SALLY ----- Original Message ----- From: Barbara Thayer Hi Sally,\Where are you from? I have found a doctor who HAS prescribed LDN and I'm going to keep her! My appt is with her tomorrow and yes, I'm going to ask her to prscribe LDN for me. My systems aren't too bad considering I've had MS for 34 years almost. I'm doing well, but ma y times I get so damned depressed and upset. Since I am by myself now, I just get a little lonely I guess. We all started out alone and since this is my situation right now, I guess I should just get used to it. The situation could be a ot worse so I'll quit bitching. Have a GREAT day!!I live in Clinton MS. It is nice and warm and sometimes very humid down here. Thanks God for whoever invented air conditioning! Barb Hi A miracle happened to me; it can also happen in your life. Keep the good LORD first in all you think and do. God bless you as He has me.
