Guest guest
HI ARMINDA, WELCOME.......I BELIEVE THAT YOUR E=MAIL CAME DIRECTLY TO ME INSTEAD OF TO THE WHOLE GROUP.....AT THE TOP HIT THE ARROW AND A WINDOW WILL COME DOWN AND THEN HIT LOWDOSENALTREXONEGROUP, IF YOU WANT MESSAGE TO GO TO THE GROUP. I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU ARE ON LDN NOW....1.5MG IS LOW, BUT, ACCORDING TO DR BAHARI, IT CAN STILL WORK AT THAT DOSEAGE, AND I THINK IT WOULD BE WISE FOR YOUR DR TO GRADUALLY UP THE DOSEAGE, UNTIL YOU REACH THE RIGHT ONE FOR YOU. I AM ON 3MG AND WENT DOWN FROM 4.5...I FOUND 3MG BETTER FOR ME.......BUT IT IS AN INDIVIDUAL THING. THE NERVE DAMAGE THAT WE HAVE SUFFERED MAY OR MAY NOT BE A PERMANENT THING.....NERVES CAN HEAL THEMSELVES AND THE LDN, IN HELPING TO REGULATE THE IMMUNE SYSTEM, CAN PROBABLY HELP WITH THAT PROCESS. WHO REALLY KNOWS FOR SURE......I JUST KNOW THAT LDN MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. AND THAT IS SOMETHING THAT THE BIG MONEY DRUGS NEVER DID. BE PATIENT AND STAY WITH THE LDN....FOR SOME IT CAN TAKE UP TO 3 MONTHS TO FEEL ANY IMPROVEMENT....I AM ON IT 3 MONTHS NOW AND AM FEELING BETTER EACH DAY....BUT I HAD A SLOW SOMETIMES DISCOURAGING START. I WOULDN'T GET OFF IF THEY PAID ME NOW...LOL BE WELL AND GOOD LUCK WITH LDN. HUGS, SALLY ----- Original Message ----- From: ARMINDA1@... salpal@... I'VE DONE IT ALL....LAST TREATMENT WAS NOVANTRONE (CHEMO). 5 TIMES AND NO IMPROVEMENT.WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND ABOUT LDN.....WHAT ABOUT NERVE DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE LESIONS OVER THE YEARS? WOULDN'T THIS NEED TO BE REVERSED TO SEE AN IMPROVEMENT LIKE WALKING AGAIN?I STILL HAVE LOTS OF ??? BUT WON'T GIVE UP. Guest guest
Hello and welcome! You have come to the right place! A lot of us are currently having a time of it and please bare that in mind with regards to responses at the moment! There are several in the group who are either on enbrel or have taken it at some point and are more experienced than I to help with any issues or questions that you may have. The information provided by and a is very informative and interesting! They are great in my opinion! I'm sorry about the feelings of isolation and lack of understanding, unfortuenately for so many of us it is all too common. This is a good place to get support for that! I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found this site. It is my lifeline, literally. No-one seems to understand within my family and I am fortunate to have a wonderful best friend - she has been there for me for quite awhile now and is my champion in my corner and I am thankful! How long have you had all of this? This is a great place for your questions and if you need to talk and/or vent! Feel free to do just that! I'm glad that you are here! Hang in there! Take care!
