Guest guest
One milliliter(ml)(liquid measure) = one milligram (mg)(dry measure). So, 3ml = 3mg if and only if it was mixed at a ratio of one mg to one ml by your pharmacist. Our LDN is componded this way. How it was compounded will be determined by how the prescription was written. Hopefully your physcian understood the dosage as a 30day supply at 3ml/day which would be 90ml or about 3 ounces. We keep ours refrigerated. Hope this helps, Emanuel ladywon059 wrote: ....The " syringe " graded with " ml " . does this mean I am to take 3mls? If I do the precsription will only last about 7 days and it seems like an awful lot. Also a note of WARNING: it did not state to keep it refrigerated ON THE BOTTLE! But upon reading the LDN pages instructions it says TO KEEP IT REFRIGERATED!
Guest guest
Hi, I take ReVia inliquide form. I crush ½ a pill at a time which gives me about 5 days worth. I keep it in a dark bottle in the fridge. I do this because I'd heard that Dupont (the makers of naltrexone) said it had a shelf life of about 10 days in the fridge. -- In low dose naltrexone , " berconst " <berconst@y...> wrote: > Does anyone KNOW how long a mixture of Revia disolved in water will > retain its usefulness. Guest guest
I never had any problems. I had to stop taking it for a week when I had to take codeine for a broken arm. I use a syringe to get the correct amount or you could use an eyedropper. Everytime I take it, I shake the bottle first. I know I have some in the amount I take because of the taste. I mix it in demineralized water which doesn't taste anything. My pharmacist told me that the naltrexone is centered inside the pill. So when I break it in half I know I have half the amount needed. It does seem to work for me. I have progressive MS, so I'm not holding my breath for any dramatic changes. I'm at Day 49 and so far I do feel better, I sleep much better (instead of waking every hour I now get up about 2 times a night). Dr Bihari did say that LDN can regain what you losein the past three months, The most I can hope for is that it stops the progression so I can wait for a cure. > Do you have any problems taking it the way you do? > Does the medication seem to work right? > I always wondered if the naltrexone was evenly > distributed throughout the tablet. > > thanks > R B
Guest guest
Hi, about this… I take Tylenol #3 for a disc protrusion in my L5-S1 and it has codeine in it but I haven’t noticed any ineffectiveness with LDN…. So how come you had to stop taking LDN for the Codeine… I have tried asking the group about these two things working together but noone has had an answer for why they are working for me… From: johannefbzzz [mailto:johannef@...] Sent: Sunday, February 08, 2004 9:06 PM To: low dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN in liquid form I never had any problems.
