Guest guest
Smoothie-from-hell (-: It doesn't taste terribly bad; the biggest problem is making it too sweet. It gives me lots of energy and keeps me filled up until lunchtime. It's all I have for breakfast. 1 to 1-1/2 cups organic fruit juice (I use apple) 1 banana Another piece of fruit, berries, or pineapple 2T granulated lecithin (for the brain and to keep the arteries clean--keep it in the freezer) 1/8t multidophilus powder (lactobacillus, like in yogurt--keep refrigerated--to keep intestinal bacteria in balance) 2T nutritional yeast (B vitamins) 1T grapefruit pectin (for colon cleansing) 1/2t MSM (for energy--I also take this at dinnertime with grape seed and 500mg Vitamin C) 1/8t grape seed extract (maintenance dose, start with 1/4t 2x/day for 2 wks, then go to 1/8t 2x/day--antioxidant) 1T spirulina (vitamins, including B-12, and minerals, protein, good blood purifier) 1T flaxseed oil (Omega 3s) 1T wheat germ oil (Vitamin E) 1T blackstrap molasses (iron--add this last, after the tablespoon has been oiled, comes off easier) Add water to thin if needed and to keep it from being too sweet by adding more juice. Don't forget to take 500mg of Vitamin C to help the MSM work. Oh, sea vegetables (seaweed) are wonderful food.Twenty-five percent higher in minerals than land vegetables. Arame is pretty user-friendly, doesn't taste as fishy as others. Soak for five minutes and it's ready. I put it in salads, sandwich spreads. Other sea vegetables are good in soups. Plenty of info on the internet if you're interested. Marie Deady wrote: Hi Martha,I am interested in knowing exactly what the ingredients that is in thesmoothie from hell.
