Hi Sheila,

I don't think it will hurt anything....but keep in mind that Avonex

is an Immune suppressant while LDN is an immune inhanser. So it's

possible that they may cancel each other out. With LDN, which Dr.

Bahari reports, there is a 98% chance that it STOPS the progression

of MS....With Avonex and all other ABCRs there is only a proven 35%

chance of SLOWING the progression. So who need them when we have

LDN?

I understand your fears of stopping Avonex, when you think that

there is a possibility of it slowing the prgression of disability.

I have chosen the 98% STOP, rather than the 35% SLOW. I was one of

the 65% that Avonex and Copaxone did not help. (only made me sicker)

Isn't it wonderful that you have a choice now? For me the choice

was easy...but I have had MS for 30+ yrs.....and with LDN, a few

suppliments and light exercising and stretching, I feel better than

I have in years.

Now , if they could just find a cure for allergies and sinus

woes....I would be in 7th heaven.

Love, Sally

Hi All,

I got my LDN in the mail today!!!!!!!!!!

I would like everone's opinion. I take sleep medicine (Ambien and Trazadone) Do

you think it would be okay to take LDN at 10 PM and then my sleep med before

bed, after 11PM usually?

Hi Margie,

Once I started LDN, I slept like a kid. You may not need any sleep aids. I

hope that you don't but everyone is not the same.

Hi Marie,

I will not take my sleep med tonight and will try to go without it for a few

nights and see what happens. I have severe insomnia.

Hi Margie,

Also in some people, when taking LDN at the beginning they get insomnia.

but Dr. Bihari says that you should go back to normal in about a week. If

after a week, you continue to have insomnia then you should cut back the

dosage a little.

In my case, I had a hard time sleeping for years and when I started LDN,

from the first night I slept like a kid again.

Well good luck with your LDN. Stay healthy.
