Guest guest
Reid, I went through a period when I was experiencing rages...They were so bad, I would sweat from head to toe. My doctor told me the sweating was from getting so engrossed in the rage itself. Thank God the rages have pretty much passed, but they scared the *%(* & # out of me. I felt like I was going crazy......Hoppefully the depression will lesson. Do you know what amazed me more than anything with this disease? Friends.....One by one they wallked out of my life. Unbelievable. I guess some just could'nt handle it. I wish it were that easy for me......to just disappear...without a conscience.? ???? No way, that is not me at all.... Guest guest
Lovette, I have neurological lyme. So, I think that has alot to do with it too. Plus I am married and unable to function fully as a wife. I am sick so much tnat I could care less, but I take on such a burden for my husband. God, I tell him he does not have to stay but he says he is here to the end. In one breath, I am thankfrl to have him and in another, I feel pressured...It is a constant battle of the mind...I guess we are learning what " for better or worse " really means....Love, Re: [Lyme-aid] Depressed >From: " F. Guest guest
, Not only to I have crying jags, but I have no patience and have become a ranting raving maniac. I can't handle any stress at all without crying or losing my temper. But I'm on my third anti-depressant. Zoloft & Effexor had too many bad side affects for me. Now I'm on Wellbutrin and it seems to being helping, yet I still have those days! Everyone reacts differently to anti-depressants, so you might have to try a few before finding one that will work for you. Then it takes about a month to kick in. Hope your doctor will put you on something for it. Have you asked? Good luck, I know with the holidays its even worse. Most the time I feel so useless as a wife and mother that the guilt overwhelms me and that doesn't help with the crying. But sometimes the crying makes me feel better afterwards. Know you are not alone though. Hugs & good health Vicki, Md Subject: [Lyme-aid] Depressed Has anyone ever had a day where a you did is cry? I mean I am finding myself crying at the drop of a hat. I stopped because I didn't like the weight I was gaining from it. I eventually lost the extra weight...at the time I had no idea my depression was due to the lyme or that I had the disease. Now that I am being treated I was getting a lot of anxiety and depression again so now I am on Effexor. I find it helps (and without the extra pounds). After reading your mail I realized I had been feeling real anxious and down the past couple of days. Guess what? I forgot to take my effexor the last few days. Just so busy with holiday stuff and not feeling so great this week that I didn't think about it. I guess it really does work. It's a fairly new drug but I think it works pretty well. I am under a lot of stress in many areas of my life and it keeps me on an even keel. You might want to ask your doc about it. {{{{{{}}}}}}}} Blessings, Lor
Guest guest
Hang in there Jan, it'll pass. As you know, I'm hard at work right now. You take care of those hormone things and see a dr if the depression doesn't clear. We don't want to hear "hurricane Jan" stirring things up down in the bayous! -dz- Jannewilms42@... wrote: Hey everyone how are ya?? Guest guest
Hi Jan, I have been kind of out of it. About all I have been doing is work, reading my E-mail & sleeping. They are driving me crazy at work. But I will hang in there. I don't feel depressed, but some times I wonder if the feeling out of it, is a sign of depresstion. Guest guest
Hey Jan, you've had a lot of problems lately. It's no wonder your depressed. I always give myself a little time and Feel sorry for myself and then snap out of it.I figure I'm entitled to feel depressed for a few days. It's when it lasts a few weeks or you think about hurting yourself, that you need help. And it could be the hormones. Allow yourself some self pity time. Pamper yourself. Spend at least one day only doing what you want to do. And talk if you want to. I'm usually around sooner or later. Sharon --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > Hey everyone how are ya?? Guest guest
Hey Terry, this treatment seems to have a great effect on my mind. Especially 2 or 3 days after my shot. I'm thinking about locking myself in the house on the day after treatment because I lose things and have no short term memory. We'll make it though. In fact last weekend I got very frustrated because I can't do what I used to, but we'll be OK in a few more months. I do # 26 tomorrow. Guest guest
I am trying to look to when he might just take some time so we can if nothing else go sit by a lake in the camper Just sit and stare at each other. LOL We love to do that .... just go and do nothing at all no schedule but so far the most optimal would be mothers day and since we have kids I would hope they want some time and attention. from dear old Mom. Sure felt good to have that one day though you know it. Guest guest
I scheduled my vacation this week for the summer. This is the hardest time for me, now that I know it's scheduled I can't wait for it to happen!! I didn't enjoy it as well as I should have last year, being on the treatment (although the R & R still did me a world of good), I intend to make up for it this year. More biking and fishing and hiking... I'm going in mid july, then again in mid august, and of course a week in november for deer hunting... -dz- WILLIAM A WALTKE <kbwaltke@...> wrote: I am trying to look to when he might just take some time so we can if nothing else go sit by a lake in the camper Just sit and stare at each other. Guest guest
Oh that sounds good..... Its always murder for us to even take a few days. We thought being self employed would be the ticket. HA..... no paid vacations there. LOL.... Mostly I see Bill work 6 days or more a week to keep up with keeping everthing flowing and happy. Somedays I wish hed just go get a job.. You just enjoy that time to the max. Catch a big old fish.... I got a story for you on that. I have caught a few nice ones. Well we were out one evening and the wind was picking up al of a sudden my pole bent and I was fighting to get what I thought might be a Wiper on my line. I am like come on baby show me what you got. I reeled it in and finally got it up on shore. It was an over grown blue gill and I was the laughing stock for weeks on end. So catch a big un......
