, would it be possible for you to drive your son to school and pick him

up? Why don't you try calling the Special Education Department, tell them

about your hesitation of having him bussed (too long ride time and rude bus

assistants) and let them know that you would be prefer to provide him

transportation if they would reimburse you for mileage. It is an option I've

seen
