My 10 year old son has just started Strattera this week - we started it for

his ADHD because Ritalin was not helping with his tics...... It would be

nice if it works for his Anxiety as well as he has OCD as well and that

would mean we would not need to go back on the Prozac again......... as the

psyc. doc does not like putting Strattera and Prozac together, as you need

to half the Strattera dose when you introduce Prozac.

So far apart from tiredness and slight constipation there are no other side

effects.

Was reading the posts on birthday parties and it bought back memories of one

horrific party he had - he is a twin so Steph and him had a party on the

same day but sort of 2 separate ones and it was utter disaster from the

moment the kids arrived - we never knew then he had any issues with

socialising if only I knew then what I know now, well we knew he had trouble

socialising but had no idea what it was..... even now at 10 when he gets

invited which has only been 2 in the last 3 years he loses the plot, I think

all the loudness and 2 many children he just can't cope.
