Guest guest
I was taking flax and feeling like crap. I read Dr. Weil's info on auto immune and he says we need to cut down on that kind of fats. It seems to work for me. I felt better after stopping. mertburton wrote: > I heard that flax is no good for us too. Everything I've read says that flax IS good for MS'ers. Can you give us some documentation to back yourself up? Martha
Guest guest
Hi, , Thanks for your response. Where did you find this info? One of his newsletters? I'd like to read it because it contradicts what I've read. I'm also wondering what you mean by " that kind of fat. " With the Omegas, as in fish oil too? Thanks, Martha Braun Doherty wrote: > I was taking flax and feeling like crap. I read Dr. Weil's info on > auto immune and he says we need to cut down on that kind of fats. It > seems to work for me. Guest guest
Martha- Poly-unsaturated vs. the mono-unsaturated. I forget which is the one we shouldn't have, but it's the one flax seed is loaded with. It creates inflammation, and that's one thing we DO NOT want. For most people I think it is beneficial.
