Guest guest
, I also know where you are coming from. I felt terrible on Betaseron. In addition, I learned "the hard way" during the 1960s, NOT to trust the drug companies. Don't know if you've ever heard of the Dalcon Shield for birth control, but MANY women became sterile and some died. Sterility was just a part of the problems. One doctor even suggested that it might have contributed to my MS. I was lucky to have one child before using it. The drug company knew about the problem--even Aetna knew--and everyone put huge profits ahead of people. Sound familiar? The drug company went bankrupt, but NO ONE went to jail or declared personal bankruptcy. Thus, my trust is always a little thin! Sally A. P.S. Sorry to sound so bitter. I'm not now. Even though I've had many recurring problems, I've learned to live with what life throws at me. We adopted a baby who is now 29 years of age and my family is wonderful. With MS, as with any disease, we just want the best and most accurate info we can find in order to make good choices and decisions. Have a good day.
