She started pulling when she was about 12-13. Hers is stressed induced, exams, anxiety etc. Mostly her eyebrows and eyelashes, she stopped pulling her hair on her head early. It is a problem she may have all her life. I hope your daughters problem was truly medication related, but if it continues, just remember, it could be worse...self mutilation, cutting etc. We talk openly with our daughter about the pulling and she really seems to understand why it happens and is more accepting of the behaviour as are my husband and I.
