Re: I believe that the hypothalamus which generates endorphi Wed Sep 3 09:16:21 2003 64.12.96.47 I asked Dr Bihari this when I visited him with my uncle with Parkinsons and his thinking is that generally after a very stressful period in life, one's endorphin levels can drop leaving them at higher risk of developing whatever it is they are prone to get, be it genetic or environmental. We are all programmed different. Someone will get cancer, another MS, another parkinsons etc. Once the endorphin levels fall they will never resume on their own. That is why he takes LDN, although he has nothing, he believes he is preventing himself from getting anything by ensuring his endorphin levels are normal.
