There was a news report on CBS News about SSD fraud. It showed a

beauty pageant contender who was drawing SSD yet competed in

pageants.

" Sen. Grassley, R-Iowa, who heads the Finance Committee, is

now asking the Social Security Administration Inspector General to

audit the government's disability programs, focusing on fraud.

" By the way, that beauty pageant contestant says she didn't lie.

claims she suffers from a number of ailments including

carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia and herniated discs. "

I fear this will have a negative impact on those of us who have

similar conditions. What does being able to stand up and sing or

walk around in an evening gown have to do with being able to hold an

8 hour a day job?
