Hi,

I've been taking the LDN from Dr. Bihari since March. Never felt

better. But, since 8/13 i have been on a downward spiral - hard to

get around, hard to climb down stairs, etc. Has anyone had a relapse

on the ldn? what did you do about it? in the past I have taken

steroids from my local neurologist. not sure if i want to do that

again.

Dear Mel, I experienced the same thing except I remembered what my neuro told me before she gave me steroids last year. She asked if I had any type of infection and to get a Urine analysis before she put me on the IV solumedrol. So.....Infections activate symptoms. I had just checked my teeth and dentist said no infection so I had a urine analysis and I did have an infection. After 2 days of antibiotics I started to feel better. I would check for somekind of infection first. Sinus, tooth, gums, bladder....before the steroids. You GP can do test.

Hope that's it.............................Kiki

Hi Mel,

Sorry for the delay in responding to this question...where is the time going

these days? Anyway, I too had a similar thing happen to me about 6 months

ago or so. I was very afraid that the LDN was not working for me and thought

I'd have to let on at work cuz I was barely able to walk good enough to walk

into the front door at work. I went to the doc who gave me a shot of

Decadron...not sure but I think this is a steroid. I was back to

normal...well normal for me anyway, in about a day or 2. Someone suggested

that I up my dose from 3 mg to 4.5mg and to change compounders, as the one I

was using was just compounding the LDN for me alone I suspect. Anyway, so

far so good now. Hope this helps. Joyce.
