Wow.. that's a shame.. I'm sure the reason that IRMAT in NYC can sell

it so much cheaper ($38.00), is that they handle so many prescriptions

for it.. Having to grind down maybe a 300mg tablet (I have no real

idea of the size of the tablet) so that accurate 4.5mg are in each

capsule might take some time..Also, maybe after filling the 30 day 4.5

prescription, they have to throw the rest away.. just guessing..

Did you check with your pharmacist? My insurance does cover it.. I

pay $20.00 instead of $38.00..

I might check out one of the other pharmacys - are any of the ones on

Dr. Bihari's list near you?

Take care,

Janis

Everybody is talking about how inexpensive LDN is and I just had my compound phamacist make me a months worth of 1.5 mg and it cost me $95. I assumed insurance would pay until the last post burst that bubble. I'm sure going the 1.5 mg was costly. Maybe the 3.0 will be better? I was just so excited about getting them in my hand I didn't ask. Silly me. What do you think? Ilene

Hi everyone,

Here in Australia, for 100 capsules of compounded LDN 3mg dose it

costs $Au80.00 which converts to $US58.25.

Seems cheaper there,

Wow! I'm paying $179 for mine (200 x 1.5 mg so I can take either 4.5 mg

or 3.0 mg with no mucking around). Where from?

Dear Reg,

I cannot get any Dr. here in California to write me a script. I have given them copies of LDN's web site and to no avail. My neuro said no but she will check into it further. Any suggestions?

Thank you,

I'm currently taking Avonex, baclofen & Elavil.
