Good work but last message from Mira was that she cannot wait to go on LDN. I honestly do not know why she said the naltrexone caused her seizures . Her postings are confusing and from what I understand , she is not even on it yet?

Hello :

What kind of cancer does your father have? How long has he been on LDN? Is

he showing any beneficial effects?

Hi ,

The warning from my Pharmisist is not to take any opiods of any kind

with LDN......this includes codiene. As I understand the reasoning,

is that LDN is a narcotic antagonist and there for the ldn would

block the action of the pain killer....IT DOESN'T CAUSE SEISURES,

I think Mira did have a seisure and went to hospital, but the pain

killer she was on, is known to cause seisures, and that is probably

what happened. LDN has never been know to cause seisures with or

without opiods. In fact there are studies being done right now, to

use ldn and morphine for pain.....they are saying that a small amt

of morphine and a small amt or ldn seems to relieve pain better than

a large amt of morphine. DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME...LOL, it is still

under study.

I hope this helps you in caring for your Father.

Hugs, Sally

Hi Noland,

My father has kidney cancer (Renal Cell Carcinoma) which is chemoresistant,

so consequently there is no adjuvant therapy available for him.

He has been on LDN for approx 3 months, and his scans 6 weeks ago were

clear. It is impossible to say yet whether the LDn is having any benefit, I

pray that it is and will keep him disease free as he is at high risk for

reoccurrence because of the location and grade of his kidney tumor.

He has had no ill effects from the LDN, so we will keep going with it

forever if we have to.

I have found the reported effects of LDN by the people on the list with MS

incredibly uplifting and the fact that they are getting so much benefit from

it gives me hope for my darling Dad.

I hope LDN is working for you.

Hello :

I'm happy to hear that it appears that your dad is doing so well. I will

soon be on LDN for my chronic lymphocytic leukemia 3 months. I'm scheduled

for blood tests on September 10th and am hoping the tests show significant

improvement. Even if not, I am still going to take LDN for at least a year.

I have noticed some other side effects i.e., finger nails growing faster and

not as brittle, days with much more energy, leg cramps have ceased and I've

quit taking peroxide IV's.
