Guest guest
It is not an opioid narcotic so it's not one of the ones that cause trouble. The people who have central nervous system trouble should watch out though as it depresses the CNS. -Sullivan > Hi Everyone- > > When I was talking about smoking cigarettes might be detrimental- I > meant that I had read that the cigarette companies add heroin to the > cigarettes to help increase addiction. > > what happens if you do accidently get a dose of narcotics while on LDN? > > I went in for my lasik today but they rescheduled me for tomorrow. She got pregnant and they decided to give up the habit. With lots of help from friends they managed to give up heroin but they could not give up smoking. That was over thirty years ago and they are now grandparents and still smoking but heroin is long forgotten. In moderation nicotine must be more addictive than heroin. Guest guest
http://www.poprocks.com/numb/cigarettes_or_heroin.html Where did you hear that? I've heard heroin and cigarette addictions compared before, such as the above article link. Here's an interesting one also, compares heroin and cigarettes to burgers and fries. http://reason.com/hitandrun/002171.shtml This is 'the truth about heroin addiction' http://www.reason.com/0306/fe.js.h.shtml And here's another nicotine vs. heroin article, http://www.no-smoking.org/march01/03-28-01-2.html ----- Original Message ----- From: low dose naltrexone Sent: Monday, October 06, 2003 13:18 Subject: [low dose naltrexone] narcotics and LDN- Hi Everyone-When I was talking about smoking cigarettes might be detrimental- Imeant that I had read that the cigarette companies add heroin to thecigarettes to help increase addiction. Guest guest
Valium is not a narcotic. Heroin is not put in cigarettes! A narcotic comes from opium, valium is entirely synthetic and chemically is not even close to an opiate. Anyone that would put heroin in cigaretts would be taken away by the DEA. Cigaretts are in fact more addicting than heroin! Guest guest
But it does depress the CNS. Take with care. Crain and Shen will help the heroin addicts. Can WE help the nicotine addicts? If you are one, try nicotine and VLDN. If you are not, don't start. -Sullivan > Valium is not a narcotic. Heroin is not put in cigarettes!
