I believe diet does make a difference. Back when I was diagnosed in 89, I was on a fat free diet, with chicken and turkey trying to lose weight. Kept the diet up until 96 that is when I went to college and started to eat meat. Then in 99 I just slowly started to go down hill. Well, just the other day after being on a low carb diet I ate a cordon blue chicken sandwich with ham, fried chicken and cheese and then a couple of nights later mint chocolate chip ice cream. Talk about go off the wagon....Boy, did I feel lousy. Weak, generally not feeling well. So does diet mean something I believe it does.

I agree with you Cabbie....it does make a big difference. I got in

the habit of eating just baked white chicken and fish and white

turkey....but I will have a hamburger once in a big while W/cheese.

Unlike Larry, though, I eat dark chocolate (York bites). I quit for

a few days and got sick......chocolate just makes me feel better and

does not hurt me in any way. So, we are all different....and we

should deffinately eat what we have discovered is best for

us.....and I read that chocolate is good for you, unless you're

allergic...like Larry.

Keep on thinking good thoughts and eating good things.

Love to all, SallyC.
