Guest guest
I had a hair analysis. I found out that i am terribly deficient in a lot of vitamins and minerals. I thought that it was strange that I was extremely deficient in calcium espeially cause I take 1500 mg per day.. The doctor told me that a lot of people with ms cannot absorb vitamins and minerals properly. so even though you are taking supplements and eating properly, it doesn't mean that your body is getting the proper nutrients. He put me on a regimen of supplements to help my body absorb the nutrients. So I have five new supplements to take every day. Some of them i have never heard of. He said that I won't be as fatigued with these supplements. Do any of you know if you have vitamin and mineral deficiencies? Marie
Guest guest
Hi Kiki, No, I am getting the vitamins from a health food store. That is good to know about hair analysis. I will ask him about that the next time that I see him. Thanks Marie ----- Original Message ----- From: NoClue915@... Mardea@... I have read or seen on TV, that hair analysis is not accurate. Hair samples from the same person were sent to different labs and different vitamin defficiencies were reported. Most of them did not match each other. Be careful. Kiki
