Guest guest
ann, People most definitely can have MS and have normal spinal tap. There are very MS'ers out there with normal spinal fluid. The Cleveland Clinic diagnosed me. I was tested for Lyme Disease, Syphillis, HIV, Rheumatoid Arthrites, Lupus, Central Nervous system Vasculitis, etc., etc. My first visit they did a spinal tap and took 12 vials of blood and some urine. My ANCA, PANCA, SED RATE, and about 11 other pages of lab tests. My sensory evoked potential and optical evoked potentials are also abnormal....which confirmed the Dx for them. I have researched EVERY test done to me...from 3 different Neuro's, 2 different MS Specialists and many other Dr's, including eye Dr. I trust the Dx. with no questions. Hope you're doing well.
