Guest guest
A lot of patients here in Az have had scarring on eyes after the surgeries leaving them with dark spots in vision field. I am extremely nearsighted and have been told thru the years not to get it ......if your body tends to heal differently from most wounds or infections ...then be weary of Lasix...and yes night vision is a bad thing after too....also age, and how nearsighted you are are considerations here . My younger sister (in PA) had it done about a yr ago and got a blur spot that her dr says she will live with ..........perfect vision now..just big black blur in vision of that eye.....Judy
Guest guest
Tania, I gotta agree with you there. There is no long term data available. And night blindness is the pits. I had that before my cataract surgery. It was especially horrible when it was raining. I couldn't even drive. Let others be the guinea pigs. My sight is far too valuable to me to mess with it anymore than I have had to. Guest guest
I should have explained myself better- I'm curious if they use any narcotics in the procedure. I know I will be able to find out more in the pre op appointment- I'm just curious if anyone else has had this done and if it worked for anyone with MS... etc. I don't want to stop the LDN for this. thanks again- alex > Has anyone in this group had lasik? > thanks- > alex
