Guest guest
Hi everyone, As there had been some discussion about the possible adverse affects of taking LDN and over the counter pain meds containing codeine, I thought I would write to the ldn.org web editor and ask about it, as I was alarmed by Mira's hospitalization and seizures which were seemingly connected to LDN and pain meds, containing narcotics. (my father is on LDN for cancer, and cannot be trusted to remember not to take otc pain meds when traveling overseas for work !) So here is the reply I got. I hope it is of some use to everyone. in Australia ----- Original Message ----- From: <dgluck@...> <petelisa@...> Sent: Friday, August 22, 2003 10:50 PM Subject: Re: LDN and painkillers that contain codeine > If the codeine-containing medication were taken during the day, when the > LDN should be well out of one's system, nothing untoward would happen & > the codeine would have its effect.
