Rise of islamic fundamentalism and what can be done

As you may have noticed islamic fundamentalism gets more and more influence in

our social society. On one side Terror attacks are threatening western

countries, on the other side more and more non-fundamentalist states are getting

more and more islamic and at the end a fundamentalist country. Pakistan,

Marokko, Irak, Egypt are some examples of these countries.

In Turkey, which is still a secular country, this can also be seen, swimwear

advertising are banned, alcohol is banned from many cities, even in Istanbul

there are so-called red streets, where alcohol is allowed (in all other streets

it is forbidden), people are killed because they drank alcohol in ramadan,

others are basted (hit) for wearing swimwears near Izmir, satellite dished are

forseen to get forbidden, only to count some issues.

The fundamentalist are very organized, they have only one aim, to get an islamic

regime all over the world. I have listened to their radios, they said, be

patient, it is not far away, when we will have the word. They are seperating

between one of them, and one of us, they say democracy is a tool not the aim.

Every step is well thought, and if they get a hard response, they take a step

back. But this step comes again and again, untill the response has disappearred.

They invest their Money to schools and for poor and young pupils, so that they

can gain their brains and opinions. And as they say, if they continue like that

Turkey will be lost for western countries. As a matter of fact, the European

Union helps very well to renounce Turkey from western society.

Now imagine, that Turkey is lost, what will be next ? The next or even nearer

goal is Saudi Arabia and other oil exporting islamic countries. The

fundamentalists will take the regime and will force the western countries to

their knees by the most important weapon: crude oil. And imagine what will be

financed with all the Money earned from oil; other scholarships and new brains

in non-islamic, but poor countries of Africa and Asia. One by one these

countries will turn to Islam and the western society will be minority.

What can be done to prevent this, it is sill not too late. First of all Turkey

is still not lost. I can stil write this mail, without getting killed. There

will be elections in 2007 and there is still an opposition and very little media

against the current fundamentalist minded party. Turkey must be resqued and this

should be in a democratic way, may be economically, and it must then be

permanent, it (democratic way of life) must go deep to all the other non-lost

brains.

The Turkish economy seems to grow, but this is achieved by high imports and

growing finance deficits in foreign currencies. These deficit can be financed by

incoming foreign shares/funds and high interest rates. These foreign

shares/funds will leave after election. What will happen is an economical

crisis, which will be a present from this government. The fundamentalists will

use this opportunity. This government must harvest all the economical (bad)

results before election.

Another thing is oil, western countries, especially the US, must find other ways

of energy consumption, away from oil, may be methane-hidrate from deep seas, may

be alternative energy, like wind or solar energy, also alternative conventional

sources like natural gas etc.and may be through energy saving. I will continue

in future what each person can do to save energy. But it is important to change

the heating system in your home (to natural gas) and the fuel system of your car

(to biofuels or natural gas).
