Guest guest
Good morning, Becky in Iowa: What dose of LDN are you taking? Also, are you exhibiting any insomnia? Guest guest
I was DX MS last November with advanced MS. My nuro put me on Copaxone that did nothing except hurt. When the injection was given and for several days after. I was also getting leg stiffness which is a Copaxone side affect. Secondary progression was setting in which Copaxone does nothing for. I have been on LDN since spring time. My legs are still a little stiff but seem to be getting better. My bladder control is " normal " again. My inner ear balance is returned. My extreme fatigue is gone away! I still need a coffee in the afternoon but that is close to normal. Sometimes after work I still find myself overly tired (interferes with personal projects). I do find that if I over work (physically) myself I will sometimes stagger, which is better than before I used to be in pain if I over worked. LDN has stopped the progression and also given me a life back. Before LDN I was months away from becoming totally disabled! B. Original Message: ----------------- From: Noland R. Guest guest
In rehab they gave me leg lifts (on side) and dumbells for arms. This is anaerobic, and good for producing endorphins. I bicycle (lie on back, do not support hips, cycle in air, with or without ankle weights). By far the best is walking (used a gym floor with a walker). It is not anaerobic but it uses the biggest muscles and you will improve stamina. -Sullivan > HI ALL I am Becky and I have had ms for 17 years.
