Guest guest
Everyone in a nursing home gets a flu shot every year. (It used to be mandatory.) Now, I don't know since I am not working in the hospital anymore. I never had a flu shot while working in the hospital. I had a mild case of flu one time in ten years. I worked directly with the sickest patients who had the flu. In those days my immunity system was maximized! Since being ill with fibromyalgia I still don't get real sick with the flu. I believe that Naltrexone will help prevent the flu. A fibro-flare feels like an attack of the flu, but I know the difference. (Had a bad case of Asian flu in the 1970's.) The one and only time I had a hard case of the flu. I have never had a flu shot. I don't intend to ever get one, unless forced by MD's when I am old and feeble, ha. As for the information of what is in a flu shot, I don't know if it is true or not as stated. I wish I had the answer for this one! Thanks for the information on the message board.
