Guest guest
I live in the central San Joaquin Valley, in Visalia, a little town/city just 40 miles S/SE of Fresno. I was diagnosed a year ago in January. Nice birthday present, huh? Anyway, I've been on the Betaseron since and have just joined in the readings of this site. I haven't been to see my Neurologist yet but have printed a bunch of info to take in when I go to see her next. Just in case she is of the opinion that this isn't what she would agree to write a prescription for, is there anyone here in the Valley who is taking LDN?? and who/whom would I see to get a script? Per the Doc's Rx of me, I have RRMS if that makes a difference. Thanks for your help, and thanks to everyone who is posting, all the information is appreciated. Guest guest
Welcome Jim to the forum....I hope you Doctor gives you LDN, but if not, there are Doctors who will.....you can arrange a phone appointment and have the LDN sent to you. My Neuro would not write the script, so Here is my Doctor & pharmacy in Wisconsin...I am in Ohio. Dr is just like any other good doc... > > > > FIRST: Call and make a phone appointment... > > > > 2ND: He will expect you to fill out an application (Medical history stuff) > you do not need to forward medical records. > > > > This is all done by mail or fax, if you are lucky to have one... > > > > 3RD: You will call Dr. on your appointment time(don't forget time > difference, eastern, pacific, central, mountain) > > > > 4TH: Dr. will fax your script to the Prescription Center (You must > call the Prescription Center to give them your Credit card #) (as well as > the Dr), and they will ship your meds to you. > > > > That's it in a nutshell. > > > > Dr. usually starts you out on 3mg for a month and then 4.5mg the > second month.
