Guest guest
Ok, that's it, you blew it now. You have to change your name to Haveaclue. Thanks for that information. Keep us posted. Earth's revolving magnetic field. Cool! I like that. Didn't ask about DST did ya? ----- Original Message ----- From: noclue915@... low dose naltrexone Sent: Monday, November 17, 2003 22:37 Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Important-Dr. B visit Hello everyone , Just came back from a followup with Dr. Bihari. He said the Circadian Clock had nothing to do with LDN, but rather the earths revolving magnetic field does. That is why LDN should be taken at night even if you work in the day. Circadian rhythem is not a factor.
Guest guest
Hi , Dr. Bihari address is- 29Weast 15th Street, New York Phone # is 212-929-4196 He charges $500 for a first time 2 hour visit or phone consult. Sounds expensive, but for a Manhatten Dr. it is quite fair. . I have paid$ 300-700 for 5minutes and came out with zero info. If you ask, they will give you Insurance form filled out, It is up to your Insurance Company whether they will reimburse you. Just sent info on DL_phen... to group Hope this helps Kiki
Guest guest
The earth's magnetic field does not revolve. The poles alternate every few million years, and our north pole is slowly heading south but I would not wait for it to arrive in Antarctica any time soon. It is a static magnetic field, while things like the one around the yoke of your CRT, for instance, alternate. It does keep life on earth safe from cosmic and other radiation. If it were not there we could not be alive! The circadian variation in the body's release of endorphin is well documented in both nocturnal and diurnal mammals. There is a definite circadian variation in *my* symptoms. I think my endorphin and possibly other released hormones have an effect. I have taken LDN at various times and dosages, and I'm currently taking it a night, as per the usual practise, because I think a lot of brain-repair takes place during sleep. I take 3mg but will likely increase to 4.5mg. I think we are improving our ability to produce endorphin, and this is not immediate. Once we are good at it our levels will not drop so low during the low times, or so I believe. I have also taken to including a bunch of vitamins before sleep as well. Unfortunately we lack a lot of facts, so we do tend to relate things as if we knew them as gospel. Recently, Larry and I have discussed a paper which throws cold water on the common notion that MS is an auto-immune disease. I think many neurologists hold that notion. I didn't steal Dr. Bihari's verbiage though I'm sure it was influenced by him and by the website and probably a lot of folks on this list. The graph came from Microsoft Excel's most excellent SINE function. I have never seen Dr. Bihari's research paper, though I would like to. -Sullivan > Hello everyone , > Just came back from a followup with Dr. Bihari. Guest guest
Kiki, Thank you for this post, it was most informative. You are so right...some times we all post things that are just our opinion and we should put a disclaimer first...lol...or just add " My two cents " after spilling our guts...lol. Were you on 4.5mg LDN and Dr Bahari raised it higher than that? I will be waiting for your reaction to the higher doseage. Sally > Hello everyone , > Just came back from a followup with Dr. Bihari. Guest guest
Yes Larry and it may mean that the " solar event " that happened a while back, may very well have effected our MS health. As I recall the magnetic field was effected adversely by that solar event...what do you think? Sally --- In low dose naltrexone , " LarryGC " <larrygc@s...> wrote: > Ok, that's it, you blew it now.
