If you are worried about the effect of naltrexone on your liver (it

seems to be it's only drawback - toxicity in large doses) it is easy

to ask your doctor to have a liver enzyme test done on you. It's a

very normal thing to include in blood testing. It is good to have

a baseline before treatment. I was tested many times during my

treatments with Rebif and Avonex. Unfortunately there was no baseline

to compare these to.
