WOW. Well, I'm glad you got a comprehensive answer. It seems that most of the people I hear from that have not had good results with LDN were on something else prior or at the same time. I guess I got a great benefit because I wasn't taking ANYTHING AT ALL, hardly even aspirin type pain relievers.

I was directed by someone from this group to a website: MS Resource Center hosted in the UK (link is http://www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=show & pageid=625)On this website I found information from Dr. Lawerence that seems somewhat contradictory to what I had read on the LDN website. I sent an email to Dr. Lawerence asking him about taking LDN with steroids and after being on codeine painkillers for quite sometime. I found his response distressing but felt it worthy for others to read. It may help explain why some people do not get a positive result from the LDN.

This steroid problem seems to come from the addictive(by mouth) steroids. I

took ACTH intravenously many many times over 14 years. I could not take the pill

form. It did not work for me so I got my steroids intravenously and they are

not addictive.
