Go for it! I know sometimes people look at me like poor misguided Mom of a

kid with AS, but WE know first hand and I would have wanted someone to warn

me, or at least educate me a bit in the dangers. Good for you if you do get

those flyers up! Esp if there are pregnant galls in line. When I was

pregnant 2 years ago in the OBGn room I statd chatting with a gal who said she

was

there for a few shot and it was mostly because her fetus was already having

trouble with low weight etc. I told her about my son and that thimerasol was

in the flu shot, she went in and asked to see the ingredient sheet and sure

enough thimerasol, she left without the shot and thanked me. Knowing maybe I

saved a baby from AS, well, It felt GREAT!

The company I work for is offering flu shots today and they are lined

up literally a block long. I think I saw a couple pregnant gals in

line as well. I have the SafeMinds flu brochure printed off and I am

trying to get the courage up to pin it up along the wall where they

are lined up.

mine too. its unbelievable at this point. I sent " more information "

to everyone on our team as well as the director of Occ Health so they

could actually receive something close to informed consent. The women

of child bearing potential really appreciated the information, the

Director did not

It was offered yesterday in my company. I tried hard to convince my

colleagues, they gave me a weird look. I looked at the consent form

and was so shocked that vaccine manufacturers outrightly say that

there is thimerosal in the vaccine and none of my colleagues even

wanted to find out what thimerosal is. One of my colleagues gave the

vaccine to her 2 yr old and 4 yr old. I even sent some links

connecting Autism to Thimerosal, she just didn't want to believe. I

gave up! I didn't not know how to educate people like her about the

dangers of vaccines.

Here is the contraindication section of the consent form:

Vaccination is generally not recommended for the following people:

1. People allergic to Chicken eggs, chicken, chicken feathers or

chicken dander.

2. People sensitive to Thimerosal.

3. People who have an active neurologic disorder.

4. People with a moderate or severe illness, with or without fever.

If you have any of the above, please notify the staff. If you have

any questions, please ask now or check with a physician or your health

department before receiving the vaccine.

If you experience any significant reactions, see your physician.

to get a flu shot because of the mercury and formaldahyde and that

they don't work.
