Guest guest
My wife has been on ldn for 4 months (3mg) with some positive results. She has had headaches for over 30 years that last for weeks at a time with only a day or two relief between. We have tried everything...all the allergy test (all negative)..steroid shots..Depakote...migraine medication..over the counter headache medicine with little or no results. We thought we would try Imitrex again to see if it might help...it did very little the other time we tried it. Is it ok to take imitrex while on ldn? Any suggestions

Wouldn't it be that whatever will not work whilst the LDN is still active? I mean, say the naltrexone monopolyzes the opioid receptors for an hour per milligram. Then during that time no opioid will work. But the rest of the day it'll be fine. Roelof
Guest guest
: It beats the heck out of me as to what it does. I'm guessing that since the wife was apparently low in Progesterone that the Progesterone shots raised her Progesterone level to the point that her system/body utilized the Progesterone or some other element to eliminate the headaches. I gave her a shot every 20 minutes until the headache would go away and then quit until the headache returned. I popped her with 80 shots the first week and then the frequency reduced as time progressed until she was only needing one every 1-2 months at the end of a year. She hasn't needed one since 1978. A side effect from this is the wife seldom "needles" me any more because I might get the chance to "needle" her again!!!!!! AND, she found out that I can really do it, too!!! Guest guest
Isn't there some progesterone in some birth control pills? The protection from MS symptoms during pregnancy is linked to levels of estrogen, another birth-control and menopause treatment and female hormone. -Sullivan > Good morning, Bodie: > > This sounds like my wife prior to 1976.
