Jackie, I seemed to have lost all " desire " for food while on the MTX. I

am no longer on it due to side effects.

But I did loose weight I couldn't afford to loose, while on the MTX.

Sorry about your arm, Jackie. Did you discuss the problem with your

physician?

You must ask your doctor about the folic acid. It is used to reduce the

toxicity of the methotrexate, but not all physicians recommend it.

Fatigue is a difficult problem. If the methotrexate starts to work, your

fatigue may improve.

Here are some good articles on fatigue:

Jackie,

I'm glad you didn't have any problems with the mtx. Most people don't have

any side effects. Hopefully you will get good results from it.

When my elbow is swollen, I can't straighten it out all the way.

Please give your doctor a call and ask him about folic acid.

The mtx could be affecting your taste.

Hi Charlie,

I'm on my first week of LDN at 3 mg also from Dr . I'm trying

not to attribute every little change to the LDN. I haven't noticed

any major change, so I'm encouraged. Best of luck to all.
