we are on our 5th round with dmsa/ala on Andy's protocol.

The first few rounds went well. Some fussiness on day one with the

first few doses. Some yeast issues that responded to GSE.

We began our fifth round on Friday morning. To begin with my son has

been refusing to drink most of his supplements. Up until now, he did

not seem to care and just drank it. Everything is grown up and mixed

into his juice. Or hidden in food. The food ones he is still taking.

He has been terrible in behavior. Hitting, yelling, fighting,

defiant, just miserable on this round. I lowered his dose on the

first day because he was so miserable. We went from 12mg to 10mg

every four hours. It seems to ease it a bit, but he is

still " insain " as we call it. Up until now the 12mg has been fine.

(he is 40pounds). He is on all recomended supplements.

I am unsure what is going on. He was actually doing well before we

began the round. Happy, playful, etc. He is complaining his mouth

hurts. I checked in his mouth and I think he may have a sore of some

type on his cheek. I was tempted to end the round today as he was so

out of sorts. But we continued. He did finally make a BM today. It

has been two days.

We increased his vitamin C last week before any of this because he

has a lot of bruising, and one day woke with a broken blood vessel

in his eye. That all went away within a day or so of increasing the

C.

So...are we dealing with yeast? and Refusing the supplements? Could

he not need some of them anymore? My understanding was that they

needed the ones on Andy's list as long as they are chelating.

We are using GSE during chelation rounds only along with probiotics

(which are all the time). I appreciate any insight. I have heard

people mention that when they do worse on a round than off, it is

time to do rounds less frequently. We have been going every week but

one week in the end of June.
