Guest guest
Hi everyone, I had 3 amalgam fillings removed on the 7th day of my menstruation cycle last month. My conventional dentist did not use any special protection or alternative air source, etc. After the removal I did take chlorella several times a day and high doses of vitamin C, omega oils, and cilantro daily. I recently discovered that I'm unexpectedly pregnant! (only 5 weeks now) I have an 8 year old with ASD who has improved greatly over recent years through dietary changes and supplementation. I'm very worried about the mercury levels in my body and about this baby! I thought I was doing something good for my body, and I feel very good, but am I poisoning this fetus? Can you offer advise or opinions on the risk level here? Thank you! Zoe Transform your life! Guest guest
Zoe, I can share from experience that worry and stress are even harder on a pregnancy especially at the early stages. Take your vitamins, eat right, get plenty of rest, and leave it in God's hands. Worry is very bad for an early pregnancy. Take joy in this new life that you are blessed with, and don't worry be happy! There is nothing you can do to UNDO the timing. God has a plan and purpose for everything. I will be praying for you! Guest guest
Zoe, I too had mercury dental fillings replaced right before I got pregnant. I had a 4 month old little boy I was breast feeding during that time also and he was more affected than my little girl (yes...my two little ones are only 13 months apart). Anyway, my little girl is definitely NT. She does have some expressive language delays, but other wise is fairly healthy. I think there are lots of things you can do to help your body detox. I know others on this list have taken steps during pregnancy that helped them. I would recommend staying as healthy as possible, take a good prenatal vitamin and continue to supplement with Vitamin C and possibly eat selenium rich foods (brazil nuts I think are high in selenium). Others will have other suggestions. Most of all, I agree with not worrying about it. I think keeping a positive mind, and just being healthy is the best thing you can do for your new baby!
