Guest guest
Hi all Just wanted to give a micro-update on my son. He is back in his special needs class - full time, this year - and doing very well so far. It helps that the school bus, his favourite mode of transportion ever, is coming to get him now. Bus, two times a day - happy boy. Everyone seems delighted to have him back, I think he's quite a star at school. :-) Another nice thing is that for the past few weeks we have had regular formed poops daily and flat tummy!! I have *no idea why, which is driving me crazy. Having finally posted about this I expect it to end abruptly. :-) He has developed a fascination with dogs and now plays a game called " It's a Doggie " . He comes up to me and says " it's a doggie " , at which time I am expected to start barking, snuffling and licking his face (the kid with sensory issues!). He has also suddenly noticed that we have cats, and for the last few days has been very gently stroking the most playful one, examining her whiskers, even hugging her once. Once he said " cat " . He looks at us with such love and sparkly eyes. We get lots of hugs and kisses. Better than prozac, wouldn't you say? Thanks for letting me share.
