Guest guest
We're doing the Cutler ALA only protocol with our seven year old son. We've noticed that he is agitated on Tuesday after his round ends on Monday morning. Drinking fluids seems to help. I assume this is due to redistribution. Two questions.. is this redistribution and is there anything we can do about it? Thank you, Pamela " Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared. If it is redistribution, try increasing vitamin C and possibly also selenium. If it might be yeast overgrowth, try increasing your yeast protocol on that first " off " day. For my son, it was at least partially due to the ALA being also a demineralizer, he was mineral toxic. Do you give minerals? Dana
Guest guest
completely normal. Guest guest
Try lowering the dose to see if that helps. I presume he has NO mercury amalgam dental fillings. Guest guest
Thanks Dana, The agitation after a round is nothing we can't deal with. It's just really noticeable. Yes, he gets minerals every day. Pamela " Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared. Guest guest
Thanks , No, he has no dental amalgams. You suggested lowering the dose. He weighs around 55 pounds and he gets 12.5 mg on the Cutler ALA only protocol. Do you think we should HALF that dose? Would it be therapeutic? Yes, he gets minerals every day. Do you think it's anxiety? When my ALA dose is too high I have panic attacks and a much higher baseline of anxiety-- with a lower dose things calm down. That would be something to try if you think he's really uncomfortable. Is it just one day of agitation? Nell

He was in K so probably weighed around 50 lbs. It does seem like such a teensy amount but I guess taking it every 3 hrs it adds up. Also there are adults who can't manage much than that so it does really vary by person/degree of toxicity. Nell
Guest guest
Thanks Nell, Yes, it's one day to one day and a half. Then, he is totally fine. He is agitated but also loud and hyper. It's nothing that I can't handle, but it's not pleasant for anyone. Thanks, Pamela " Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared.
