Guest guest
I called my compounding pharmacy to find out which kind of filler they use for the LDN and I was told they use "acidophilus lactobacillus" Was told this is the good bacteria found in the GI tract. Any comments from the group.
Guest guest
With LDN, the most important elements are - NO SLOW RELEASE and no lactose. We use acidophilus in our filler (adds a little granularity and its healthy) - but it also contains calcium carbonate and a small amount of magnesium to help it flow better into the capsules. We use riboflavin (a B vitamin) as a color instead of food colors. Larry J. Frieders,RPh |The Compounder |Custom Medicines575 W. Guest guest
If they can fill with that, that is great! What pharmacy does that. This will help your intestinal flora definitely. I take acidophalous seperately. This is the good bacteria that is found in some yogurts. You must ask if it should be refrigerated and what the shelf life is. Guest guest
Hi Larry, Why do you say NO LACTOSE? Dr. Bahari's original recipe uses lactose filler, and so do I. As long as you are not lactose intollerant, what's the problem? Thanks, Sally > With LDN, the most important elements are - NO SLOW RELEASE and no lactose.
