Interesting current article (11-2-03) on a Canadian web site, Stem Cell NetWork-News....."Wonder Cell". The politicians are sitting on their hands and not supporting what the scientists believe will be the cure for many chronic and autoimmune diseases. At present, their funding is small, $300,000 here and $250,000 there. Why don't are leaders take on this research, like the commitment Pres. Kennedy made to walk on the moon? We'd see some results. It's in political limbo now. Maybe we need to sign up those people who are "for" and "against." Those who are "against" forfeit treatment of any cures that are found. And, that would include their progeny for the next 10 generations.
