Guest guest
It has been almost a month now that I am experiencing extreme stiffness and weakness of my right leg between the hours of 3 PM and 9PM. I have been on ldn for 3 months. It has gotten to the point where I can barely walk late in the day and have fallen several times. I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing and if it could be a side effect of ldn. Perhaps the timing? I do great late at night and in the morning. Thank you, Stella
Guest guest
I believe this is your endorphin low point possibly coinciding with MS triggers like stress or infection. I think part of the Hope Effect is that it increases stress when we are afraid the thing we are doing will fail. The more the hints of failure the more stress. As you can see it is a self-feeding demon. We need to chill. What is the worst case? LDN will stop progression so you will not get worse than you are now. The vulnerability to stress and infection only lasts until the LDN has had its effect, which it will do, within weeks or months. Some people even say days. So relax. Take an LDN holiday if you have been on it for a few months and think it might help. Connie, what time of day do you take your LDN? Just curious. -Sullivan > I am experiencing the same and have been on LDN for 6 months. I'm on 3 mg > and even tried 2 mg for a few days. Guest guest
There is much recovery of function to be had with exercise. Some things are harder to fix than others, but I just saw a film of Chris Reeve (post-accident) MOVING HIS FEET! There was a lot of applause, which I am sure he likes to hear. So don't give up. Just don't expect immediate miracles. It takes time. Said the kettle to the pot. -Sullivan
Guest guest
Thanks Chris...that's exactly what I'm doing now....stretching, light exercise and staying the course with my 3mg of LDN....trying not to stress and keeping a positive attitude.
