Guest guest
Dear Jann, Many of us had tried about a year ago. Perhaps a renewed effort would help. If you have his web site it could be posted along with others (Opra, Dr. Phil etc.). It can't hurt to try again. All my best Aletha [low dose naltrexone] LDN for Parkinson's -- has anyone contacted the J Fox foundaiton ? I just read a news release about a discovery in London regardingParkinson's. I was wondering if anyone knows if there has been an effort to contactthe J Fox foundation about using LDN as a therapy. I searchedtheir website and didn't find any reference to LDN or naltrexone. The foundation has quite a few donors and having a celebrityspokesperson can go a long way for promoting a treatment. Maybe thefoundation could sponsor a small trial. --??-- Jann
Guest guest
Hi Jann, could you please provide more info on the PD news release from London? Was it about LDN? Also, I have been taking 4.5 mg LDN for the past 40 months (along with 600mg Q10, B12 and magnesium) and have not had to increase my mix of PD meds. Still, there is no way to be sure what works and what doesn't. > > Dear Jann, > > Many of us had tried about a year ago. Guest guest
Hi , No the article wasn't about LDN...here's the link: http://tinyurl.com/2mmkyw When I read it the article it just made me wonder if the MJFF was promoting LDN so I went to their site to see. I did notice on the MJFF website another article talking about an deficiency in 'glutathione' being implicated as well. I've taken NAC in the past to boost my glutathione production. Here's a good presentation about glutathione: http://tinyurl.com/2uosb4 Best wishes... Jann
