Guest guest
Hi, We are currently having horrible regression with our ASD son. He is 3 years 10 months old. He has been going to OT and speech since March and was really progressing quite well, doing better with transitions, learning more language, etc. We are just beginning to do biomedical intervention. Then 3 weeks before Father's day his Occupational therapist left and we haven't had any OT until last week and it was only once last week. Also, 2 weeeks before Father's dad (with his lovely sensory issues) he decided to swallow 5 lithuium pen batteries. The Dr. said to just let them pass. Well, the last month has been nothing but PURE HELL! Today we had to leave speech in the middle of the session because he did nothing but scream and hide behind a chair for most of the time. The only other changes except for the noted ones above are that he has been eating alot of bacon and just last week I started him on Kirkman's spectrum complete. Can anyone please give me some encouragement? I feel like this in no way to live. My husband and I do nothing but fight all day long. Thank you, Jana
