Guest guest
I feel that LDN does NOT help Osteoarthritis. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know. I have Osteoarthritis and have been on LDN for 2 months now with no improvement in my situation. I take 3.0mg a day. Should I increase to 4.5 mg? Thanks. Effiya. Guest guest
Hi Effiya,I would suggest increasing the dose to 4.5 mg nightly. In addition, it can take weeks, months, and even a year or more for LDN to achieve its maximum therapeutic potential. It took time for your condition to develop, and it will take time to overcome it. In some cases, the most that can be accomplished is a halt in progression of the disease process. For more information about LDN, visithttp://tinyurl.com/2boot2There is more to treating osteoarthritis than just taking LDN. Diet is VERY important, and there are also other helpful adjunctive measures that can been instituted. Guest guest
Hello, I am new to this board, and have a couple of questions I haven't been able to find the answer to. 1. Does LDN have any benefit for someone with Graves Disease AFTER they have had Ablation to kill the thyroid? 2. I have a friend whos son (11years old) has scleroderma. Is there any information on LDN use in children? Is it even prescribed for children? She has tried many different drugs, with little effect thus far. She is reaching, and willing to try almost anything. (rejected steroids and constant steroid injection at multiple affected sites) Thank you so much for any insight anyone can give. Guest guest
I agree. There is not evidence that osteoarthitis has any autoimmune component to it. One problem Dr. Skip mentioned in his radio show is everyone trying to cure every problem on the planet with LDN. Remember it works on the immune system. Osteoarthritis is based on microtrauma over the years and corresponding damage to the articular cartilage. Then it does have a component of inflammation when it gets really bad. If someone is using it for osteoarthritis, what is the basis for this. -------------- Original message -------------- From: Effiya Hanson <lizeffiya@...> I feel that LDN does NOT help Osteoarthritis.
