Guest guest
I am sure this has been discussed before and I thought I kept those emails in my file, but didn't seem to be able to find them. So I am asking again for some input on taking DLPA for depression and how to purchases it. I am assuming it take be purchased OTC, but am not sure. I would like to be able to get rid of the cloud of depression that seems to follow me around. I have Fibro. thanks Leanne Michigan

Guest guest
The Vitamin Shoppe carries Solaray DLPA, and I'm sure lots of other places carry it too. Probably any reasonably well stocked vitamin-type place would have it or could order it for you. In a message dated 1/12/2008 5:37:12 A.M. Guest guest
Thanks everyone for the helpful information. I see in reading through some of the information that if you have high blood pressure it may aggravate my blood pressure so I will wait to ask my doctor. I am tired of have a little depression tail wind following me around all the time. Can not take most anti-depressants. Thanks Again Leanne Michigan [low dose naltrexone] DLPA questions I am sure this has been discussed before and I thought I kept those emails in my file, but didn't seem to be able to find them. Guest guest
Leanne Many people do not tolerate the amino acid dl-pheylalanine, but they do tolerate the harder to find d-phenylalanine. It also increases endorphins and reduces pain. http://healthlibrary.epnet.com/GetContent.aspx?token=e0498803-7f62-4563-8d47-5fe33da65dd4 & chunkiid=21664 http://www.aminoacidbotanicalandsupplementsource.net/D_Phenyl_Relief_info.htm DLPA you may well find at Meijer, WalMart, etc. d-Phenylalanine is available online. Other natural anti-depressants are Magnesium+B6, fish oil for its EPA and DHA, the amino acids SAM-e, l-Tryptophan and 5-htp. But you may also find that LDN alone will help to shift your mood. Hope this helps, mjhStart the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.
Guest guest
Hi Leanne, Have you ever tried SAMe? It should help the depression AND the fibro. Always do your research and talk to your Doctor before supplementing with anything. I think SAMe has to be taken with certain B vitamins, so be careful. Guest guest
I went and got some DLPA yesterday. I was wondering what part of the day should I take it to aid me with the endorphins. Becky
