Guest guest
Sorry to be the one with bad news, but you can't exhale (if you were hoping no mrecury toxicity). This test meets the counting rule of 4 or more in the red, OR 1 less than the rule (You have 3, nearly 4). It may meet another one, but because you didn't put over/under next to the elements, I can't be sure. Also, the low level of mercury being excreted is usually typical of a toxic kid. -------------- Original message -------------- From: " jujomommy " <jujomommy@...> Hello, We just received the results from DDI on my 3.5 year old. I don't think that he has met any of the counting rules and the only toxic element that is in the red is Bismuth. Can anyone tell me what these mean? Can I exhale yet? THANK YOU!! Guest guest
is right. And bismuth is very toxic. The good news is that apparently it chelates out pretty easily. If that were my son's hair test, I would certainly give chelation a trial run on Andy's protocol. Guest guest
and Anne, Thank you for your replies--Do either of you know where he could have picked up bismuth? He has not had exposure to my makeup or Pepto Bismol. I don't know where else he would have gotten it. > > > > Sorry to be the one with bad news, but you can't exhale (if you > were hoping no mrecury toxicity). Guest guest
At least one diaper rash cream contains it, I don't remember which one. Check www.danasview.net/metals.htm for other sources of exposure. S S
and Anne,

Thank you for your replies--Do either of you know where he could
have picked up bismuth? Guest guest
If the counting rules aren't met (I can't verify without all the information), then the bismuth could be a real issue or could be due to contamination of the hair. If the counting rules are met then bismuth could either be real or falsely elevated by mercury. -- > > > > > > Sorry to be the one with bad news, but you can't exhale (if you > > were hoping no mrecury toxicity). Guest guest
Just another note: the lithium being in the red, is an indicator of mercury. I have heard that Bismuth is in a lot of makeup products, these can transfer off of adults onto your child. When mercury is present it is very common for it to elevate other metals. These would come down with chelation. > > Sorry to be the one with bad news, but you can't exhale (if you were hoping no mrecury toxicity). Guest guest
Bismuth: Environmental sources: Used in solders, a variety of other alloys, metallurgical additives, medications, and in atomic research. In the early 1990's, research began on the evaluation of bismuth as a nontoxic replacement for lead in such uses as ceramic glazes, fishing sinkers, food processing equipment, free-machining brasses for plumbing applications, lubricating greases, and shot for waterfowl hunting. Dietary sources: Pepto bismol I heard the mention of diaper cream, make up, and probably other places we don't know of. , " jujomommy " <jujomommy@...> wrote: > > and Anne, > > Thank you for your replies--Do either of you know where he could > have picked up bismuth?
