The administration of naloxone or naltrexone increases the secretion

of gonadotropin-releasing hormone and corticotropin-releasing factor

and elevates the plasma concentrations of luteinizing hormone, follicle

stimulating hormone, and adrenocorticotropic hormone, as well as the
